Guy's Hospital London

Guys Hospital

A strategic partnership has been formed between ChG Southampton Ltd and the Dept of Maxillofacial Surgery, Guy's Hospital to develop a prototype fibre device for endoscopic laser power delivery at 2.9 microns for the treatment of salivary duct stones. Every year thousands of UK patients are admitted to hospital for the treatment of salivary duct stones. The cost of these procedures could be reduced significantly through minimally invasive laser surgery while also providing enhanced health care benefits to the patients.
